A complex and traditional style of Pinot Gris, handpicked from selected rows at our cool-climate vineyards in Oakbank and Charleston. The fruit is chilled prior to wild yeast barrel ferments, followed by 5 months maturation in 70% larger format French oak. Aromas of tangerine, lemon and talc lead to a textural wine layered with flavours of pink grapefruit and Nashi pear and accented by notes of orange blossom and white nectarine building to a long, mineral-led finish. A wine suited to seared scallops, rabbit terrine and spicy Thai salads.
