2021 Signature Owen’s Chardonnay

Limited release – only 300 dozen produced

Chardonnay has always been my first wine of choice and as the only wine we produce that bears my name, must not only be exceptional but must be the wine that I always want to come back to. Only produced in great vintages and from carefully selected barrels, the 2021 is our third release following on from 2015 and 2016. Hand picked from Mendoza clones at our Mappinga Road vineyard. Chilled fruit is 100% whole bunch pressed, wild yeast, barrel fermented dirty in large format French Oak puncheons, 35% new for 10 months. Very minimal intervention. Rigorous barrel selection.
