To join the Wine Club or to shop via our online store you must be 18 years of age or over, and be a resident of Australia. Sidewood may request identification such as a drivers license to confirm age. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18.
Upon joining the Sidewood Wine Club you acknowledge and allow Sidewood Estate to charge your nominated credit card to complete your recurring Subscription orders.
Member shipments are for personal consumption only and are not to be used for retail sale; Sidewood reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is in any way interfering with the operations of the Wine Club.
As a Member of the Sidewood Wine Club, you are required to purchase a minimum of 12 bottles per annum which entitles you to receive discounts, invitations, free delivery and all other members benefits.
All communications regarding members accounts and orders are done so via email. It is the members responsibility to check junk folders.
Credit card payments are processed securely through third party payment processors (Stripe) and are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective processor.
When choosing to pay via subscription, you are accepting to pay on a recurring basis and acknowledge an automatic payment will be made from your credit card based on the terms set forward in your subscription. Subsequent payments made every month until you cancel your subscription.
Reminder emails are sent both 30 days and 7 days before your subscription is due and any charges are made to your credit card. Members are emailed notification of all failed process attempts and follow up emails to rectify the failed allocation.
Sidewood accepts no responsibility for changes made to a member account by the account holder and any other persons who may have access to that account. Requests to update any member details must be made in writing to cellardoor@sidewood.com.au unless otherwise arranged with Sidewood.
It is the Member’s responsibility to update their subscription delivery details on their online Member accounts or by contacting cellardoor@sidewood.com.au. Any additional delivery charges or fees that are incurred due to an incorrect Member address will be the responsibility of the member.
You may cancel your Membership once your 12 bottle commitment has been fulfilled by emailing cellardoor@sidewood.com.au with your name and reason for cancellation. If you wish to cancel your subscription prior to reaching your minimum commitment, Sidewood Estate reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of $50 to your nominated credit card. If your personal circumstances mean that you’re unable to honor your commitment, please contact Sidewood directly on 0437 666 799.
Sidewood Estate has a commitment to privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (CWTH), and the guidelines and policies of the Australian Privacy Commissioner. Sidewood will retain member credit card details in a secure environment according to our Privacy Policy. Sidewood Estate will only use personal information for purposes to which the information is relevant. Sidewood will not sell or share personal information with third parties except to deliver products or information to members and members may also opt-out of receiving communications from Sidewood at any time.
By joining the Wine Club, Members consent to the use of their personal details for marketing purposes including to receive news, promotional offers, and other updates in relation to Sidewood by mail, email, phone call, or text message.
Sidewood uses third party couriers to dispatch our wines. Once your online order is made please allow up to five business days for your order to be packed and collected by our couriers. Delivery may take up to two weeks to be received depending on its destination. Quoted delivery times are given as an approximate only and to the extent permitted by law. Sidewood will not be liable to a Member for failure to supply or deliver wines if surrounding circumstances are out of Sidewood’s control. Sidewood will endeavour to ensure all orders are received in a timely manner, however, this is not always possible due to locality, weather, peak times, and extenuating circumstances for delivery companies.
Sidewood is not responsible for any missing or damaged products after delivery has taken place.
Persons under the age of 18 cannot sign or accept delivery of wine or cider.
Member Free Shipping is available for Subscription and additional orders within Australia only and may exclude rural and remote areas.
Sidewood Estate reserves the right to hold/delay shipments during periods when there is extremely hot weather forecasted to ensure the quality of your wine is not compromised. Sidewood endeavors to ensure the prompt delivery of your purchase when Sidewood deems the forecasted weather is suitable for transportation.
Please note that all Sidewood Estate wines and ciders are stored in fully climate-controlled facilities and Sidewood does not cover or accept any responsibility for hot weather transport damage.
If wine obtained through the Sidewood Wine Club is faulty, notice must be given in writing to cellardoor@sidewood.com.au with an explanation within 48 hours of delivery. Sidewood will replace or refund damaged wine if deemed reasonable and fair. Sidewood reserves the right to not exchange/replace or refund damaged or opened wines after delivery. Any heat damage due to wine being left outside after delivery will not be accepted by Sidewood as we cannot control the weather and it is up to the customer to be responsible for their deliveries.
Sidewood reserves the right to refuse requests to exchange and refund wine after it has been delivered.
