Welcome to our newest expansion, the Sidewood Cellar Door. Upcycled from a humble Apple Shed into a luxurious new Tasting Room, lounge, wine bar and private dining space in the Adelaide Hills.

Sidewood’s Cellar Door is run by a dedicated team of passionate people with a range of experience, certificates and qualifications . Our passion for cool-climate wines and ciders makes us the perfect hosts who will guide you through our range and tailor your experience to suit you whether a novice or seasoned wine enthusiast alike.

Our wine flights are made up of 4 x 60ml pours and are designed for you to enjoy in your own time. Make your choice from the selection below and we will bring you your wines on a paddle to analyze and enjoy!

Nearly Naked 0% Alcohol Wine Flight

The first ever Adelaide Hills premium zero-alcohol wine flight, our Nearly Naked wines are stripped bare of alcohol. This wine flight is made up of 4 x 60ml pours of our Nearly Naked wines, designed for you to enjoy in your own time.  $24 per person

Introduction to Wine Tasting Masterclass

$35 per person | 45 minutes

In this masterclass we’ll teach you the basics and leave you feeling like an expert. Learn frequently used wine terms, develop your own palate and vocabulary whilst tasting some of Australia’s highest awarded wines.

Sidewood Sabrage

Sidewood Sabrage Masterclass

$45 per person | 35 minutes
(min 2 people, one bottle per couple)

Learn the art of Sabrage, the traditional technique of opening a bottle of sparkling using a sword. We’ll walk you through our range of Adelaide Hills produced sparkling wines, then kick back, relax and enjoy the bottle you opened.

Build Your Own Platter

Select your own cheeses, dips, crackers and accompaniments from our range of local produce to build your own platter to enjoy alongside your wine or cider tasting.

We have cold bottles of your favourite Sidewood wines and ciders to takeaway, plus a range of merchandise including glassware, clothing, gift vouchers and more.

  • We were on a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide, staying the night in Hahndorf. We had visited Dan Murphy's in Frankston to stock up for our trip and on their recommendation had been enjoying some wines from Sidewood. So the Sidewood Estate Cellar Door was the obvious choice for our afternoon wine tasting. It turned out to be a great choice and the lovely Serena took us through the wine list at a leisurely pace. Sidewood may be relatively young in wine terms, but they are doing great things. Not only are the wines outstanding, they also represent great value. We really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.
