We’re raising a glass to celebrate some incredible news. Sidewood Estate has once again been recognised in The Real Review’s prestigious Top Wineries of Australia 2025. Coming in at 34th place nationally, we’re proud to hold the highest rank for any Adelaide Hills winery this year.
Each year, The Real Review awards its Top Wineries Certificate to a select group of producers who consistently deliver wines of exceptional quality. This ranking provides a national benchmark of excellence, and we’re honoured to be listed among such esteemed company.

96 Points – 2022 Signature Owen’s Chardonnay
“Intense smoky flinty reductive aromas overlying toasted nut, savoury complexity, generous oak and the palate is intense and full bodied, with power and volume, melon and lemon underneath the savouriness, the finish very long and forceful, with drying properties and an appetising aftertaste.” Huon Hooke, August 2024.
95 Points – 2017 Signature Chloe Cuvée Sparkling
“Light-mid yellow colour; rich and complex toasty bouquet with roasted hazelnut and very much at the mellow, complex and long-matured end of the sparkling spectrum. Mouth-filling flavour with balanced and freshening acidity concluding with a very long and harmonious aftertaste.” Huon Hooke, January 2025
94 Points – 2018 Signature Cassandra Blanc De Blancs
“Light-medium yellow colour, with a superbly toasty developed bouquet of lees-aged chardonnay. Cashew nutty, gently buttery, trace of pencil-shavings, with voluminous flavour and a bone-dry finish that resonates long on the aftertaste. The acidity enlivens the palate and is just a trifle prominent, but it’s an excellent wine of really generous flavour.” Huon Hooke, January 2025
