Sidewood's Sparkling Win at ICCWS 2026

We're pleased to celebrate the achievements of our winemaking and viticulture team with a stunning triple win at the 2026 International Cool Climate Wine Show.

The Vigneron's Release Isabella Rosé Sparkling 2015 delighted judges once more, winning Top Gold & Trophy for Best Sparkling Wine in Show.

"Intriguing and enjoyable. Advanced, tertiary leading. Yummy, though. Poached strawberry's, pastry, rhubarb orange rind and stone fruits. Apple tarte tatin. Creamy mouse, more development on the palate. Good finish - and fresh shaved apple underneath, and crushed rocks." - Judge's Comments

The crowd favourites, the Estate Gamay 2025 and Mappinga Chardonnay 2025, also took home gold medals, each earning 95-point scores. These wines are both a testament to the passion and expertise that goes into every glass of wine, vintage after vintage across one of Australia's largest sustainable wineries.

This follows a proud legacy of accolades at ICCWS, including Trophy for Best White Wine of Show last year with the Mappinga Chardonnay 2024 and the Chloé Cuvée 2015 winning a Top Gold and Trophy for Best Wine in Show in the 2022 Awards.
