Sidewood’s restaurant and cellar door has fast become the Adelaide Hills’ busiest wine and cider venue. Situated in historic Hahndorf, only 25 minutes from the CBD of Adelaide, their restaurant, outdoor dining area, nature play and picnic areas
regularly host 500+ guests a day.
Sidewood’s cellar door is a state of the art, re-purposed ‘Apple Shed’ which hosts
structured masterclasses, Sabrage training and wine and cider tastings.
Sidewood was awarded ‘Best Wine Tourism Restaurant’ as well as ‘Innovation in Wine Tourism Experiences ‘by Great Wine Capitals of the World. An amazing acknowledgement of the Sidewood team’s commitment to providing passionate and education wine experiences.
Nairne Winery & Bottling Line
Sidewood’s predominately solar powered winery, organic certified
vineyard and production facility allows Sidewood to control the process of
making wine from ‘grape to glass’. The establishment of Hills Bottling and
Canning has allowed other producers a chance to utilise their facilities to
package their own products.
Sidewood’s Italian made counter-pressure bottling line allows for a
range of canned and bottled wine, as well as other beverages from 185ml to 1.5L
