VITICULTURE & VINIFICATION

Made from handpicked fruit from a single vineyard and a single Pinot Noir clone (777). Small batch fermentation takes place naturally, with a portion of whole bunches included for added texture. Aged for 10 months in large French oak barrels to keep the fruit fresh and expressive, with minimal oak influence.

VINTAGE CONDITIONS

Adelaide Hills conditions supported slow ripening and flavour development, preserving bright fruit character and natural acidity.

The result is a balanced and expressive Pinot Noir with clarity and freshness.

94 Points James Halliday's Wine Companion 2025 Edition
"This wine opens with a big chorus of pepper and wild herbs, whiffs of black cherry, some turned earth and truffle, but the mainstay is that vigorously savoury spice and herbal elements great stuff. The palate is ultra-light, spreads beautifully and softly through its textural weave of lacy tannin and finds touchstones of the bouquet in just-ripe cherry and raspberry mingling with that definitive pepper and herbal detail. It's super lightweight but delivers such an intriguing, delicate wine nonetheless. What a delight."
