VINIFICATION

Made from handpicked fruit from a single vineyard and a single Shiraz clone (SAVII 19). Fermented in small batches with some whole bunches for added texture, followed by extended skin contact to build depth and structure. Aged for 12 months in French oak (30% new), using only a select few barrels to create this limited release.

VINTAGE CONDITIONS

The Ironstone Road vineyard’s iron-rich, free-draining soils produced concentrated fruit with structure and intensity. The 2021 vintage delivered balance between power and refinement, ideal for a structured, age-worthy Syrah.
