Sidewood Estate 2025 Pinot Gris named winner in Dan Murphy's Best in Glass Awards
Sidewood Estate's 2025 Pinot Gris has been named a Best Winner in the Pinot Gris/Grigio category at Dan Murphy's 2026 Best in Glass Awards, one of Australia’s most influential retail wine award programs.
The annual Best in Glass Awards recognises standout wines across Dan Murphy's national range, selected from thousands of wines submitted by producers around the country. The program is widely regarded as a trusted buying guide for Australian consumers, placing award-winning wines in front of millions of wine buyers each year.
The Dan Murphy’s recognition adds to an already exceptional run for the 2025 Sidewood Estate Pinot Gris, which has continued to build momentum across the national wine show circuit.
The wine was awarded the Trophy for Best Pinot Gris or Grigio at the 2025 Royal Sydney Wine Show, receiving 95 points. It also secured Top Gold and 96 points at the 2025 Royal Perth Wine Show. Further acclaim followed with 95 points in the 2025 Halliday Wine Companion and another 95 point review from Tony Love at Wine Pilot, firmly establishing the wine as one of the leading Pinot Gris expressions from the Adelaide Hills.
The wine displays lifted aromatics of Corella pear, rosewater and ginger, leading into a vibrant palate of white nectarine and quince, finishing with a fine, nutty thread that adds depth and elegance to the wine.
