Sidewood joins the Adelaide Thunderbirds
Sidewood Estate has added netball to its sports sponsorships after signing an exciting deal with the Adelaide Thunderbirds for their upcoming season. The partnership will see Sidewood continue its leadership in the South Australian market as one of the state’s most loved wine brands.
As an Official Partner of Netball SA and the Adelaide Thunderbirds, Sidewood will be in the hearts and minds of netball fans. The agreement is multi-platform incorporating pouring rights at Priceline Stadium, promotions, giveaways, digital and social media activations and consumer events.
Owner, Owen Inglis (pictured with Thunderbirds Player, Abigail Latu-Meafou at Sidewood’s Cellar Door at Maximilian’s) spoke about the opportunity this partnership provides Sidewood in celebrating the best in South Australian sport with some of the best South Australian wines.

Since welcoming the Adelaide Thunderbirds to the Sidewood family, players and coaching staff have made their way up to Sidewood’s Cellar Door at Maximilian’s in Verdun. The visits have included some familiar faces in the world of netball including Gia Abernethy, Dan Ryan (Head Coach), Sasha Glasgow and Emily Burgess who attended the 2018 CRUSH Festival at the Cellar Door (pictured).
